As my old students were new to IELTS, I put great emphasis on building up their vocabulary and understanding the context of reading materials. For listening skill, I had them start with listening dictation practices first to get used to the words and flow. For writing skills, my students will start with templates and structures provided from me. For speaking skill, vocabulary, fluency and pronunciation are highly important.
