About Yahaya

I was born and brought up in Kaduna State, Nigeria, had my BSc Chemistry from Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, my MSc Organic Chemistry from Bayero University, Kano State, Nigeria and PhD Organic Chemistry from University Putra, Malaysia. Currently a Lecturer at the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry in Kaduna State University.

About the lesson

I hope to make organic chemistry easy for you by watering it down to the basics. Courses like, introduction to organic chemistry, organic chemistry practicals, organic reaction mechanism, organic synthesis, spectroscopy( NMR, GCMS, LCMS, FTIR), organometallic chemistry, photochemistry and organometallic chemistry.

Perfect! Dr. Yahaya is an embodiment of knowledge. He explained FTIR to me to a very simple and understanding level, he took his time to teach me how to read the spectra using chart/table. Such rare gem!
