About Emma
Singing often feels more like a physical sport than a musical performance. Most people assume that power comes from the throat, but I teach that it begins with breathing control and posture. I incorporate monthly performance recordings that we review together to ensure steady progress. We will look at belting technique and vibrato control in a way that prioritizes your long-term vocal health.
My lessons are designed for working professionals and intermediate learners who need to refine their artistic voice. I draw on my background in classical and popular styles to provide guidance that feels both personal and rigorous. We will set clear markers as you move toward your next performance goal.

Vocal training requires quiet focus in a practice room while we explore the resonance of your own instrument. During my training at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, I learned how to bridge the gap between head and chest voice effectively. I enjoy working with absolute beginners and teens to discover their unique sound. My 6 years of experience allow me to emphasize vocal health, breathing control, and microphone technique in a way that remains safe for the performer.
I find it deeply satisfying to watch a student gain performance confidence after mastering rhythm and phrasing. It is a genuine pleasure to help a student refine their genre styling while maintaining a strong foundation.
