About Carlos
Throat tension often ruins a performance before the first note is even hit. You stand at the mic and realize your breathing is shallow.
We fix this by utilizing structured warm-up exercises that ground your performance. My degree from UBC provides the technical framework for your vocal development.
We manage stage fear by focusing on your physical connection to the breath. Genre styling across pop, classical, and musical theater becomes manageable when the underlying technique is stable. Sight singing will be part of our routine to sharpen your ear. Every new student starts with a diagnostic vocal assessment to chart a path forward.

Bachelor of Music graduate from the UBC School of Music. Vocal precision is an athletic endeavor. My 13 years of stage experience across Canada taught me that vocal health remains the most overlooked aspect of singing.
I have guided 232 students through the nuances of breathing control, diction, and articulation. Every voice has a unique capacity for range extension that we simply need to uncover. I prioritize your long-term instrument health above all else.
