About Winona
Straining your throat to hit a high note creates a wall of tension that ruins your performance. I teach you to move that pressure out of your neck and into your breath.
We explore head and chest voice, genre styling, and resonance to build your unique sound. My McGill training ensures we handle your vocal health with scientific precision.
Singing is meant to be a relief, not a chore. Let us simplify your technique so you can focus on the music itself. I am here to guide you through every step of your vocal evolution. It is a pleasure to see my students finally own the stage.

Stepping onto a stage for the first time in Montreal left me terrified, but that moment pushed me into a lifetime of performing and teaching. I earned my BA Music from McGill University so I could understand the mechanics behind every note I sang while gigging for 9 years. Now I use that foundation to help adults and returning learners find their true voice.
I specialize in range extension and mic technique because I know how much physical comfort changes your sound. Watching a student move past their stage fear is the best part of my job. I look forward to hearing your unique voice and helping you reach your specific musical goals.
