About Koen
I am a HBO student bioinformatics and I would like to teach math / chemistry and biology. HAVO diploma with NG-b package obtained at the KSH in Hoofddorp. In the past I have given private tutoring for MAVO mathematics. Especially exam training, results were around 1.5 / 2 points higher than the students usually achieved.

My way of teaching is first to see how good the student is by nature with the subject matter by asking questions and going through the theory together. If I have an idea of that, we will make assignments. I will try to explain the things that the students don't understand in a simple way, and they also learn the tricks that I always find useful. But I always find the best way to ensure that the student understands the most difficult assignments from the book, not only being able to do it, but understanding what you do is the most important thing.
