About Nada

I am a second-year health science student in Dawson College. I have been tutoring younger student in high school when I was in secondary 4 and in secondary 5. The subjects that I have taught are English and French. I also help classmates occasionally when they don't understand in other subjects like mathematics, science or history. Furthermore, my experience in the cadets program has helped me to develop my communication and teaching skills since I received a formation on how to teach a class. Finally, I also followed a swimming instructor formation which taught me different teaching methods. Therefore, I am a qualified person to tutor. I also have a ease of contact with people, great communication skills and a great knowledge in various subjects.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are based on the formations I received in my cadet career as well as my swimming instructor formation. I usually try to figure whether the student is more auditory, visual or kinetic. Based on this I create activities that will help him learn in a more efficient way. I like to create tricks to help students learn. I also believe that exercises are the best way to learn, even if we are making mistakes. Thus, I focus a lot on exercises, mini-tests or dictations to diagnose what needs to be explained or improved.
