About Heather

I am currently a paraprofessional for the K-2 class at my school. I have been working with childcare for over 3 years now. Last year was my first year as a paraprofessional but I have been the aftercare teacher since my senior year in high school. I graduated high school in 2021 and I'm currently attending GMC to get my tachinid certificate in early childhood. I love with working with kids, and I honestly don't see myself doing anything else! I will love and care for your children as if they were my own My goal as to yours is to help you child succeed and to see them having fun learning for themselves. The biggest lesson I want to teach them is " You can be anything you want to be and do not let anyone get in your way as long as YOU WORK for it YOU will get there!"

About the lesson

I know how important it is to see your child succeed in and out of the classroom. I set my heart out for every child that needs help especially when they are afraid to ask. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I will help your child with basic skills from pre-k levels to elementary, that includes cite words, numbers, alphabet, colors, reading, and math. Also teaching one on one with the little ones will really benefit them in the classroom. I am very patient and willing to work with kids that have a learning disability such as ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and OCD. In my lessons we will review what your child is having trouble on, and I will write out a plan for what is to be worked on and how you (the child) can approve. I will also be available for summer and even weekend tutoring. If desired. I know how busy it can be during the week.
