About Susan
I’m an experienced Maths teacher offering in-person and online tuition from Primary up to S6. I have lots of experience in preparing students for N5 Maths, N5 Applications of Maths & Higher Maths exams.
I have a proven track record of success, achieving excellent results both school-based and with students I tutor.
I have marked SQA Higher exams so I understand how to maximise results.
All lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs, well-structured, engaging and enjoyable to overcome challenges & build students' confidence.
I have tutored many students both 1 to 1 and in small groups, receiving lots of positive feedback from parents and students.

For online lessons I use an interactive whiteboard which both the student & I can write on. Students will get a link following each session giving them access to a recorded, transcribed & fully searchable copy of the session.
I would start by discussing the student's goals, identifying strengths & gaps in knowledge and creating a plan to get them on track. Clear explanations will help build understanding and confidence and we will work hard whilst enjoying the process.
Students will be given Course Notes and various useful resources, including homework if requested to help them to progress between lessons.
