About Kelvin
I am currently a professional engineer with a Masters and Bachelors degree from the University of Melbourne. I finished my Masters with two Deans Honours List awards by being in the top 5% of students in my Masters degree. I have over a year of experience in tutoring high school students. In high school, I played many sports at a high level and was juggling my school work to achieve the highest ATAR that I could. I finished with a 98.45 ATAR and was tutored a lot in my life, so I know what a good tutor should be like. I like to tailor my lessons to what you need, rather than giving an overly general and boring lesson. I make sure that you learn what you want to learn in an engaging and understandable way.

I like to tailor my lessons to the student's needs. Prior to sessions, I will engage and communicate with the student (not included as teaching time - free of charge) to determine problem areas and topics that the student needs help with. This will ensure that I am able to deliver the best lesson that I can, while helping the student to reflect on their subject weaknesses so that we can tackle it together.
I have delivered these type of lessons to high school students for over a year. Students would come to me with specific topics, problems or questions and I would teach and explain those specifically, rather than teaching an overly broad or general lesson.
