About Neven
I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University where I studied Applied Mathematics, Psychology, and Economics, and I am currently pursuing my Master's in Applied Mathematics as well. I have been teaching students in all various settings since I was in high school. This ranges from Algebra 1 to Advanced Differential Equations and Asymptotic Perturbations, 1-on-1 tutoring to full classrooms, and students from middle school all the way to seniors in college.

I always start students off with a conversation about their day to make sure they feel comfortable. Then I always have a lesson plan set and ready to go. While I am explaining concepts to students, I ask them questions and have them explain concept to me in their own words, because teaching is the highest form of learning! I always do concept checks and make sure everyone is understanding what I am saying.
