When it comes to math, it's rare that people find enjoyment in the subject. For my students to enjoy math I use engaging, fun activities to help them learn. I create new games for them to play. Sometimes I pick one student to teach the lesson if they have mastered the topic. I make my lessons less of a lecture and more of a conversation about the math topic. I use examples with things that they like. An example of this is creating a word problem with their favorite superheroes.
Currently I am studying at Marymount University in Accounting and in Psychology. I have earned my associates at Northern Virginia Community College in Business Administration.
I have close to two years of tutoring experience with young kids and teenagers with a mixture of freelancing and online tutoring companies such as Varsity Tutors and Forever Clever Learning.
