Hello! I'm a rising junior majoring in music composition and biology. I'm interested in teaching music theory, orchestration, composition, violin playing, biology, organic chemistry, and genetics.

About Loba
On the music side, I've been a composer and violinist for nearly a decade. I've written music for string orchestras, string quartets, symphonic orchestras, and piano. I'm currently planning my senior capstone for the Lehigh University Philharmonic (my first symphony!), while playing as a 2nd stand 2nd violin. I hope to start a non-profit down the line that will aid students from all backgrounds to learn and understand music theory. On the STEM side, I'm finishing up my second year for my BA in biological sciences. I have research experience in bacteriophage genomics and yeast genetics, specifically looking into viral genome sequencing and yeast mating pathway mutations. Thanks to great connections, I'm set to get my master's at UChicago for bioinformatics. Afterwards, I'll go into medical school to become a clinical geneticist.

Things like music and biology are often known as "difficult" or "terribly challenging". However, through numerous visuals, detailed lesson plans, and unremarkable enthusiasm, I've found a formula that allows complex topics like elemental harmony or DNA transcription, to seem like something a baby could learn. Quite literally. I teach from kindergarten to the collegiate level!
My style and approach is much more "friend" based, meaning I prefer to explain and teach topics as if you were asking a friend right after class.
