About Shreshta

I am a vocalist with over ten years of training and performance experience, offering engaging and interactive music classes primarily for children. I began my musical journey at the age of 10 with Carnatic music, building a strong classical foundation before expanding my training into Hindustani classical music and playback singing.
I have trained in Hindustani classical music under Pandit Sharan Chaudhari and in playback singing under Smt. Veena Suri, and have successfully completed Madhyama Pratham in Hindustani Music. My diverse training allows me to introduce young learners to music in a way that is both structured and enjoyable.
Alongside teaching, I am an active performer, regularly presenting Bhaavageethe, semi-classical compositions, light music, devotional music, and film songs. I have performed at several reputed cultural events and stage shows across multiple cities, including Alva's Nudisiri, Konnur Nudi Sadagara, and numerous other programs. I have also shared the stage with renowned artists such as Ajay Warrier and Shruthi Bhide, and have recorded track vocals for select album songs.

About the lesson

Every child experiences music differently, and I believe that learning it should be a joyful journey, not a stressful one.
My goal is to introduce children to the world of music in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment where they genuinely look forward to every class. Instead of beginning with intensive classical training, I focus on helping children build a strong musical foundation through simple classical concepts, engaging activities, and songs they enjoy singing.
In my classes, children will explore a variety of music, including bhajans, folk songs, light music, and songs in different Indian languages. I want them to experience the richness and diversity of music, discover what they enjoy the most, and develop a lifelong love for singing
Every lesson is designed to help children grow in confidence, improve their sense of rhythm and pitch, and express themselves through music all while having fun. As they learn, they'll naturally build the basics of classical music, giving them a strong foundation if they choose to pursue it further in the future. My hope is to nurture happy, confident children who enjoy music and carry that joy with them for years to come.
