About Edeline

I am a Grade 9 student passionate about mathematics, and I hope to share my enthusiasm for the subject with students in my community! I love tackling challenging problems and experiencing the satisfaction of finally solving something I once found difficult. I believe that with the right guidance, patience, and a willingness to learn, anyone can grow to enjoy and excel in mathematics.

Outside of math, I absolutely LOVE dogs! I have a German Shepherd named Laika, who is a very special part of my life. I enjoy getting to know new people, discovering their interests, and learning about the things that make them unique.

I can't wait to meet you, learn about your interests, and help you discover just how fun and rewarding mathematics can be!

About the lesson

My lessons are inquiry-based, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems independently, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. I provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring tailored to each student's needs, including concept explanations, homework assistance, and answers to any mathematical questions they may have. Rather than simply memorizing formulas, my students learn to understand the reasoning behind them, building the confidence and skills they need to excel in mathematics.

I strive to create a fun, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and exploring new ideas. Through a lighthearted teaching style, friendly conversations, and encouragement, I aim to make learning mathematics both enjoyable and rewarding.

My tutoring is designed for elementary and middle school students in Grades 1–8, whether they need extra support with classroom material or are eager to challenge themselves and explore more advanced mathematical concepts.
