I’m a Grade 12 Ontario student specializing in Functions and Advanced Functions, tutoring Grades 9–12 math. My goal is to make math clear, manageable, and less intimidating by breaking concepts down step by step and using simple examples before moving on to harder problems.
I adapt my teaching to each student’s learning style and focus on understanding the “why” behind the math, not just memorizing steps. A typical lesson includes a quick check-in on what the student is learning, reviewing key concepts together, guided practice, and independent work with feedback.
What sets my lessons apart is that I use real Grade 11 and 12 test questions for practice, giving students experience with the types of questions they’ll face on assessments. I have up-to-date knowledge of the Ontario high school curriculum and explain concepts in a relatable way, making math approachable and effective.
My lessons are ideal for high school students in Grades 9–12 who want clear explanations, more confidence, and extra practice to improve their grades.
