About Reagan
I am a Grade 11 student in Scarborough, enrolled in the IB (International Baccalaureate) Program. I specialize in tutoring mathematics.
I am passionate about helping any child who is struggling in math or wants to excel and reach the top of their class. I can teach the ways they need to think to truly understand math rather than just teaching how to apply basic formulas.

I will act as a mentor who helps your child succeed in their own school's curriculum. My sessions are not lectures, but they are perfect for building confidence through active engagement and guidance in their math problems.
What a 60-minute session looks like:
Concept Review (5 mins): We will discuss what they learned in class and determine where they are struggling.
Guided Practice (35 mins): We will work together through any of their current school's worksheet or textbook problems. I will use simple visuals, quick hints or similar but simplified questions to guide them onto the right path whenever they feel stuck. I won't just give them the answer, because it's important that your child knows how to recreate the steps themselves.
Independent Practice (15 mins): I will find a couple similar problems for them to solve on their own to prove they mastered the concept.
Parent Update (5 mins) : A quick overview of what we achieved and what your child still needs to work on.
Note: In-person lessons can either be taken at your home, the Scarborough Civic Centre Library, the Agincourt Library or at a library of choice within the area.
