About Okan
I am a passionate competitive programmer and a multi-year medalist in the Republican Subject Olympiads. My journey from a 6th-grade medalist to a 2026 RFO Finalist has given me a deep, tactical understanding of the STEM competition landscape.
My Competitive Track Record:
Informatics: Bronze Medalist (9th Grade) and Finalist (8th Grade - competed against older students).
Physics: Finalist at the Republican level (7th Grade).
Current: Qualified Finalist for the 2026 Republican Subject Olympiad in Informatics.
With a Codeforces Expert rating and years of experience at the highest level of national competitions, I don’t just teach code—I teach medal-winning strategy. I know exactly what it takes to perform under pressure and how to navigate the specific challenges of the Republican Olympiad system.

As a Codeforces Expert, I help students bridge the gap between basic syntax and high-level logic. My sessions are designed for high schoolers aiming for USACO Bronze/Silver or anyone stuck at the 1200 rating plateau.
My approach emphasizes "Thinking over Typing." We don’t just memorize algorithms; we learn to recognize patterns. Whether it’s Dynamic Programming or Graph Theory, I teach you how to "read" a problem and determine the required time complexity instantly.
A typical lesson includes:
Review: Analyzing your recent upsolving and fixing logic errors.
Live Solving: We solve a problem together, practicing mental tracing before coding.
Optimization: Refactoring code for strict contest constraints.
Strategy: Contest-specific "tricks" to rank in the top 15% globally.
