About Avery
My name is Avery and I am a freshman this year! I have always loved doing math since I was young. I love playing sports, especially baseball and basketball. In the wintertime to about spring I volunteer for a Special Olympic program for basketball. It is SO much fun. AND I made a ton of new best friends. One of my dream jobs is to work in the educational field.

I know what it is like to be struggling with certain subjects in school, it is NOT fun. I will be very patient with everyone and make sure they are actually understanding what is going on. I typically will want to see what kids understand already, and then address the weak points. I also want to teach them the importance of good note-taking, so I will be making my own lessons. I will present the lessons to them, and they should be taking notes. I am very strong with algebra concepts. So any grade from 6-9 I would be ecstatic to help!
