About Cerine
Hello! My name is Cerine, and I am a Grade 12 student with a strong interest in history and education. I have spent years studying the subject carefully, and I understand how to make historical events clear, interesting, and memorable for students. I have developed effective study methods that help me understand and organize lessons, and I enjoy sharing these techniques with others.
I am patient, supportive, and passionate about helping students gain confidence in history. I believe that history is not only an important subject for school but also a key part of general knowledge, and I aim to show students how engaging it can be. My goal is to create lessons that are structured, clear, and fun, so students can learn efficiently while enjoying the process.

I am a Grade 12 student offering history tutoring for middle school students (ages 11 to 14) who want to better understand their lessons and improve their results. My lessons are designed for students who find history difficult or uninteresting and would like a clearer and more engaging explanation.
My teaching method is based on explaining historical events in a simple and structured way, often like a story, to help students understand the context, causes, and consequences of each event. I work with the student’s school lessons and adapt my explanations to their level. I help students create summaries, timelines, and key vocabulary lists, and I train them to answer questions using clear and organized paragraphs.
A typical lesson lasts about 1 hour and is divided into three parts: review of the lesson and difficulties, explanation of the topic with examples, and practice with questions or short written answers. I also help students revise for tests and improve their general knowledge in history.
As a Grade 12 student, I have recent experience with the school history program and understand the difficulties students face. My lessons are for middle school students and Grade 9 students who need support in history, in a calm and supportive learning environment. Lessons can be given online
