About Josiah
Hi! I'm Josiah.
As a recent high school graduate, I took the same BC curriculum courses you are taking not long ago. I got a 98% in pre-calculus 12 and a 90% in calculus 12. As well as 5(the top score) in AP Statistics and AP Physics 1. And a 4 in AP Chemistry. I have taken courses through public, private, online, hybrid, and independent homeschooling systems so whether you are home schooled, in a private school, or in public school, I probably relate on some level and can adapt to your learning style.

Too often have I seen students give up on being "good at" math, simply because they didn't have someone to move at their pace and explain the concepts to them. I would love to help you or your child improve your grasp of pre-calculus concepts.
I won't promise you an A, but if you are willing to put in the work, I am sure I can help you improve. My methodology is that failure is not the enemy, it is your best teacher. The most valuable habit to master high school math, is to identify when you have made a mistake, and learn from it. Learn what you did wrong, which misconception or poor habit caused the mistake, and how to prevent it in the future.
While I am most knowledgeable on the BC, Canada high school curriculum, math is a universal language and whether you use BEDMAS, PEMDAS, BODMAS, or BIDMAS, for your order of operations, I hope I can help you.
Online lessons take place over Zoom, Google Meet, or Brave Talk using an interactive digital whiteboard where we can write, solve, and annotate pre-calculus problems together in real-time.
