About Sareena

Hi! I'm Sareena, a Grade 12 high school student and aspiring author with a passion for English literature, creative writing, and storytelling!

I've always loved how writing allows us to express ourselves, explore different perspectives, and bring our imaginations to life. Over the years, I've dedicated much of my free time to developing my own novels, short stories, and poetry, gaining hands-on experience with character development, plot structure, literary techniques, and the writing process as a whole.

Beyond creative writing, I also enjoy analyzing literature, exploring deeper themes and symbolism, and developing thoughtful, well-structured essays. I believe that strong writing skills are valuable both inside and outside the classroom, and I'm excited to share my knowledge with others.

As a fellow student, I understand that English assignments can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to organizing ideas or finding the right words. My goal is to create a welcoming, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.

Whether you're hoping to strengthen your academic writing, improve your reading comprehension, or bring a story idea to life, I'm here to help you build confidence in your abilities and discover your own voice as a writer!

As a passionate creative writer and high school student, I believe that learning English should be both engaging and rewarding. My tutoring approach focuses on building students' confidence, strengthening their writing skills, and encouraging them to express their ideas creatively.

Teaching Methodology and Techniques: I adapt my teaching style to each student's individual needs, strengths, and learning pace. I emphasize interactive discussions, creative exercises, constructive feedback, and practical examples to help students understand literary concepts and improve their writing. Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I encourage students to recognize areas for improvement and develop their own unique writing styles.

Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and an introduction to the day's learning goals. Depending on the student's needs, we may analyze literary passages, practice essay writing, explore creative writing techniques, or work through school assignments. Lessons include guided practice, independent exercises, and personalized feedback to reinforce understanding.

What Sets Me Apart: As an aspiring author who actively writes novels and short stories, I bring firsthand creative writing experience and genuine enthusiasm to my lessons. Being a student myself, I also understand the challenges of English coursework and can explain concepts in a relatable, approachable way. My goal is to make writing feel less intimidating and more enjoyable.

Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for elementary, middle, and early high school students who want to improve their English, reading comprehension, essay writing, literary analysis, or creative writing skills. I welcome students of different skill levels, whether they need academic support or simply want to develop their passion for storytelling.
