My Teaching Methodology
I focus on understanding rather than memorizing. I break down each concept into simple steps, give lots of real-life examples, and make sure students truly get it before moving on. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and learning style — whether they need patience, motivation, or more challenges.
A Typical Lesson
We start with a quick review to make sure everything from the last lesson is clear. Then, I explain a new topic in a way that’s easy to understand, followed by guided practice. By the end, we go over exercises together until the student feels confident. I also give short optional practice tasks for reinforcement between sessions.
What Sets Me Apart
I’m close in age to my students, so I understand what confuses them — and how to explain it in a way that actually makes sense. My goal is not just good grades but building confidence and a real love for math.
