I like to let the student pick the song they’d like to play, as they’ll enjoy playing a song of their choice rather than one picked for them. I also find patience is the key to success with a student. It’s important to me that the student isn’t nervous or afraid of their teacher. Everyone makes mistakes but practice makes perfect!
I started playing the piano when I was 4 years old and have been playing ever since. I’ve competed for many years at the Sunderland Music Festival and been successful. I enjoy playing at public events such as church and tea time at the Fenelon Falls museum.
I have completed my grade 7 Royal Conservatory playing exam and my grade 6 Royal Conservatory theory exam.
