About Ana Luiza

My name is Ana, I'm a high school student. I've been taking music lessons since I was three years old, and I've been giving private lessons for a year now. I have an advanced level of English certificate from Cambridge, and I already have previous experience, having taught private and NGO students the language. I have a Python programming certificate from the University of Michigan, as well as an online teaching certificate from Harvard. Mathematics is definitely the subject I'm most interested in, and I already have practice giving private lessons in it.

About the lesson

Math classes:
This subject is often considered extremely difficult by students, so I always start by deconstructing this thought. We start the classes by understanding where the student's difficulty is, and then we start working on the most basic points that he has not yet mastered.
These classes are very specialized, as they deal with different subjects for each student, different ways of learning and externalizing thinking about what they are studying.
This class is intended for elementary school students (1st to 9th grade).

Music classes:
For students from 8 to 1000 years old.
If you don't have previous experience with any instrument - I recommend, in that case, starting by learning some style of music, not the instrument itself. In this modality, we will go through musical initiation, perception, theory and singing classes.
Piano lessons - for complete beginners and intermediates. In the classes, we will deal with the various modalities of the instrument, from classical piano (use of sheet music), through chords (figures), theory and perception.
Singing lessons - for beginners. In classes, we will start with the perception of notes and rhythm, improving basic skills, and then start with more advanced techniques. We will also go through theoretical and perception classes.
Theory classes - for beginners. We will deal with theoretical issues of music. Class not suitable for children under 14 years old, as they do not have instrument practice.
Perception classes - for beginners. We will learn to listen to intervals and tempos, in addition to writing. Class not suitable for children under 14 years old, as they do not have instrument practice.
