About Leila
I am a 16-year-old student in a private high school and I also went to a private primary school. I have a younger brother and I often help him with his homework, so I’m used to explaining things to younger students in a simple and patient way.
My approach is calm, clear, and supportive. I help students understand their homework, go over difficult concepts step by step, and prepare for tests with practice and review. What sets me apart is that I’m close in age experience-wise and I regularly practice teaching with my younger brother, so I know how to explain things in an easy way. I can also help with Science.
These lessons are for younger elementary students who need help in Math, English, French, or Science.

My approach as a tutor is centered on patience, clarity, and making sure every student truly understands the material instead of just memorizing it. I adapt my teaching methods depending on the student’s needs, using simple explanations, step-by-step guidance, examples, and practice questions to reinforce learning. I also encourage active participation by asking questions and having students explain concepts back to me, which helps build confidence and long-term understanding.
A typical lesson plan starts with reviewing homework or previous topics, then identifying any difficulties. After that, we go through explanations and examples together, followed by guided practice and independent exercises. At the end, I make sure the student feels ready for upcoming homework or exams by reviewing key points and strategies.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students and adjust my teaching style so they feel comfortable and supported. I stay patient and positive, making learning less stressful and more engaging.
These lessons are for students of different levels in Math, English, Science or French, whether they need help with homework, preparing for exams, or strengthening specific skills. I will help them complete and understand their assignments, get ready for tests, and improve their overall confidence in the subject.
