About Jarif
Hi, my name is Jarif, and I am a medical student studying at Monash University. Getting into my course required being dedicated and hard-working and throughout my school life, academics were always a focus.
I have experience offering guidance, running teaching sessions, and supporting students preparing for competitive academic pathways. I understand the pressure students face because I have gone through it myself, graduating with an ATAR of 99.60. My approach is structured, patient, and professional, with clear lesson goals and organized resources tailored to each student.
I prioritize punctuality, preparation, and strong communication with both students and parents. My aim is not only to improve marks, but to build genuine understanding and long-term confidence in your chosen subject.

My tutoring approach is structured, personalized, and results-focused. I begin by identifying a student’s strengths, gaps, and goals, then tailor lessons to build deep conceptual understanding before moving to exam-style application. I emphasize active recall, spaced repetition, and working through progressively challenging problems to develop confidence and independence.
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I graduated with a 99.60 ATAR and achieved raw scores of 97 in Math Methods and Physics, and 95 in Chemistry and Engineering. I have tons of experience teaching at tutoring centers in Victoria along with private tuition.
My lessons are for primary to senior secondary students, including QCE Math and Science subjects, as well as students aiming for top academic results throughout all school levels.
