About Tobe

I ensure all my tutees are fully engaged in every concept, using real-life examples from my experience in finance. I believe it's much better to draw students in with analogies, and back-and-forth reasoning, rather than cramming down stale concepts.
I have achieved impressive results with students in both CASS Business School and Cambridge University MBA students.

About the lesson

I am Tobe Ofili, an enthusiastic learner and tutor with an eclectic background covering engineering, finance, and accounting.
Before university, I had idealist views of changing the world with the power of technology (I still believe I will), and so studied electrical and electronic engineering at UCL.

My degree actually led me to a love for all things finance, and so I earned a Chartered Accountant Qualification at PwC UK after graduatig from UCL. While working at PwC, I managed to get a taste of university tutorials at CASS Business School, tutoring students in financial statement analysis. I still keep in touch with the best students long after my engagement with the univeristy.

Eager to learn all there was about finance, I enrolled at Cambridge Univeristy for my second masters, and was fortunate to tutor MBA students in accounting and corporate finance (courses they went on to excel at).
I am passionate about communicating tough abstract ideas in the simplest way possible.
