About Linda

I'm Linda and I've been in education my whole life. I've taught in state schools, private schools, wide-ability schools and selective schools in the UK and I've helped a lot of students get into the best universities by building confidence in their own ability. I can tune into a student's level of understanding and preferred learning style quickly and this enables me to get the most out of each lesson. I am really approachable and you can ask questions at any time; the discussion should create a purposeful energy in each lesson. My passion for, and huge knowledge of chemistry, together with my vast experience of teaching students of all abilities will mean that no time is wasted in maximising your knowledge and understanding. I'd like to learn about your goals and work with you to reach them.

About the lesson

My approach is to build confidence and maximise understanding by teaching ideas in a clear and accessible way, matching the content and language to each student. My passion for chemistry comes through and each lesson will be varied, interesting and challenging. I have huge experience of teaching classes and one-to-one, both online and face-to-face. Lessons are one hour long. My qualifications are BSc(Hons) Chemistry with Management Studies, PhD Biophysical Chemistry and PGCE Chemistry. I also have an up-to-date DBS certificate.
