About Sarah
Greetings, this is Sarah! I am turning 16 years of age on October 23. You may or may not have heard of Concord High School, a school which I attend. As a note, I have begun self-teaching myself Japanese by the age of 9, then have sought professional support from my school. Overall, I have almost 6 years of experience with Japanese. This includes writing & reading (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji) as well as speaking & pronunciations. In terms of education, I constantly receive A's and B's for each subject. However, consistent A's in Japanese are often achieved and taken note of in my reports. In fact, I have scored top 1 out of the entire class 5 times in a row with an average of 98%. Not to mention I have been rewarded physical written awards signed by the head teacher of languages and have attended presentation day (an assembly) for being the best-graded student in the class. For an efficient teaching method, allowing you to listen while I explain enables absorption of knowledge into your brain, then allowing you to take notes and practice writing. As my job, I will support you and help you learn from mistakes. Flashcards will be operated as a quick recap at the end of the lesson made by me, and you may keep it. Homework will often be to use the flashcards every night for consistent revision. Lessons usually take 1-2 hours. My experience of teaching younger students as well as receiving outstanding and constant A's on my reports, not to mention multiple awards for being top 1 in the class, with an average of 98% accuracy in examinations. My lessons are specifically aimed for young, passionate children from ages 5-14. I'll be of much help at their beginner or intermediate pace in Japanese. If they wish to study for school tests, a textbook (online or physical) or any other reference required from the school will be recommended.
