About Alan

History Degree but I am not a teacher by profession. However, plenty of teaching independently as tutor for over 20 years. Lots of transformational results - from F to A* but everything depends on where you come from - success is not always an A* - but a love for a subject (with a better grade as a result).

About the lesson

I love history and this comes through. I engage in a mix of empathetic discussion and practical essay and analysis skills. Ultimate aim - enjoyable lessons, a new found self belief in the subject and improved results.
