About Alexa

Hello! I’m Alexa, a third-year student at Vanderbilt University with over 7 years of experience learning and using Spanish. My journey with the language has not only been academic but also professional, as I’ve had the opportunity to use Spanish in workplace settings. Language learning is a true passion of mine. In addition to Spanish, I’m currently diving into the worlds of Portuguese and Japanese, which has given me an even greater appreciation for the process of mastering new languages. My personal experience with the challenges and triumphs of language learning fuels my commitment to helping others achieve their linguistic goals! Outside of academics, I’m an avid creator. I love exploring art, playing and listening to music, and spending time crocheting. Whether you’re just starting out with Spanish or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you with personalized, supportive lessons.
