I take time to get to know my students personally so I can learn what teaching methods benefit them most. I direct my teaching toward junior high and high school ages, as I enjoy shaping young minds and helping them set a path for future success.
A typical lesson from me would involve:
Reading material (as appropriate for the student)
Evaluation of the material by question/answer
Demonstration of knowledge

Concepts to be covered would include the scientific method, scientific terminology, conducting experiments and interpreting data, discoveries in science, worldview of environmental science and concerns, and understanding how to use lab and/or field equipment.
I have some background in special education, and am able to adapt lessons and teaching methods to support differently abled students, so I can meet them at their level of learning.
