About Layla
Hi there! My name is Layla, a student at the Univeristy of Alberta, I’m an honor roll student who is incredibly passionate about learning, my favorite subjects are biology, math and creative writing! I think problem solving can vary from a creative to an analytical approach, and finding a harmony between the two helps an individual develop their abilities and perspectives. Outside school, I enjoy focusing on other skills like crochet, baking and cooking! I also enjoy watching television as a ‘brain break’ and playing with my cat, Oreo. Struggling in school can stem from multiple factors, but asking for help and receiving it is the first step to achieving success! I believe there is something for everyone to enjoy academically, and homework doesn’t have to be scary!

Hi there! I offer direct homework help or design personally curated lesson plans based directly on the Alberta curriculum, for students in Mathematics 1-9, Math 10-3, Math 10-1, Math 20-1, Math 20-2, Math 20-3 and Math 30-3. The goal is to develop a relationship with Math that is not intimidating, but more of a 'solving a puzzle' approach! I am based in Edmonton, Alberta, but through offering Online Lessons only, I am available for students all across Alberta! We will work at an efficient but comfortable pace, at 1-2 online sessions per week.
