About Abbey
Having graduated in 2020 from one of the top animation universities in the country, I have gained a thorough understanding of art. As I graduated in 2020, I have an appreciation for students who are going through these difficult times - especially within the arts. Because of this first-hand experience, I can provide quality tutoring that takes into consideration all the elements that students are faced with when working from home. My specialities: - A levels/ GCSE: After achieving high grades in both A level and GCSE, I know what is required to get the marks you need! I'm also still in possession of all my old work so I can provide examples of what is needed. - Anatomy: My main focus throughout my artistic career and education has been anatomical forms, giving me a solid background in life drawing and prepared me for a degree in Animation (Specialising in organic modelling for creatures and characters) - Digital Art: Although I'm incredibly well versed in traditional art I'm also very competent in digital aspects using programmes such as Adobe Photoshop and Procreate. Teaching style: I'm a fun charismatic individual that believes that learning should be something to look forward to! As someone who has struggled with Dyslexia I also pride myself on creating a learning environment with no judgement and providing explanations that come easier to those that find traditional learning harder. As I have previously mentioned, I'm incredibly aware of what students are going through thanks to the current climate. As such, I will provide a completely tailored experience to you or your child in a way easily consumed through online learning. Though I have done much regarding GCSE and A level related work I am also able to provide classes outside of these realms such as the basics of art theory made fun for younger students or simply specific kinds of skills you wish to learn in your free time! Abbey is a motivated and talented artist who works well in team situations and has great leadership abilities, for example leading her final year group project at university. Abbey is also a fantastic people-person with a charming and outgoing personality that really endears people to her. She is caring and helpful and very easy to talk to on any level. Abbey has a passion for mythological creatures and legends but is also well versed in realism and anatomy.
