As her former teacher, I am honored to recommend Brandy Ingram as a superprof. I haven't seen her teach, but I have seen her act, and I have seen her eagerness as a student. As a teacher, when Brandyce and I were in Graduate school I got to see her in a more personal and informal environment. Her resume alone should be enough to trust her, but as her former classmate, we were tasked to mentor and tutor each other while we worked on earning a Master’s degree in writing. During this time, Brandyce helped me achieve my goals in earning a Master’s degree. Without ever telling me how to write or do things, Brandyce was more of a mentor and always made suggestions on how I should move forward; she was the best constructive critic to me. Fast forward almost two years later, I was able to write a book thanks to the many times she mentored me and the many suggestions she made. Without her mentoring, I would not have written the book.
