About Daniella

As a dedicated university student with a deep understanding of science, I bring both expertise and empathy to every tutoring session. About the lesson

I am uniquely suited to help students because my entire teaching philosophy is built around understanding first. I don’t ask students to memorize facts they don’t yet understand—I guide them through the how and why so the what becomes natural. This approach not only strengthens comprehension, it builds genuine confidence, which is often the missing piece for learners in grades 7–12.

My strength lies in meeting students exactly where they are. I begin every lesson by exploring what the student already knows, then branch outward into what they need to learn. This creates a sense of continuity and prevents the overwhelm that many students feel in science classes. By connecting new ideas to familiar ones, I make learning feel logical instead of confusing.

My patience is one of my greatest assets. I understand that science isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and I never rush a student or make them feel behind. Instead, I create a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. Students feel safe, respected, and guided—not pressured.

My lessons are designed for middle‑school and high‑school learners (grades 7–12), which means I know exactly how to adapt explanations for different developmental levels. Whether a student is tackling Grade 7 general science, Grade 10 biology, or Grade 12 chemistry, I tailor my teaching to their pace, their confidence level, and their learning style.
