About Dean
I am an experienced English teacher with over fourteen years of teaching experience, both online and abroad. I have taught in Thailand and China, and I now work online with students from around the world, specialising in IELTS preparation, SAT English, GCSE, IB English and general English.
I have worked with learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced students, helping them improve their confidence, fluency and examination results. My goal is not simply to teach English, but to help each student develop the skills they need to communicate accurately and confidently.
I believe that students learn best when lessons are both enjoyable and well structured. By creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere while maintaining clear goals and high standards, I help students stay motivated and make consistent progress. I am proud to have received excellent feedback from both students and parents throughout my teaching career.

For IELTS students, lessons cover all four components of the examination:
• Understanding the IELTS exam format
• Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
• Vocabulary development and grammar accuracy
• Effective exam strategies and time management
• Practice tests and realistic mock examinations
• Detailed feedback and personalised correction
I teach in English and adapt my language to suit the student's level, making lessons suitable for learners from beginner to advanced.
A typical lesson combines explanation, guided practice, discussion and constructive feedback. Every lesson has clear objectives so that students leave knowing exactly what they have learned and what they need to work on next.
My lessons are suitable for teenagers, university students and adults preparing for examinations, studying abroad, developing their careers or improving their everyday English.
