About Jay
I'm an upbeat and friendly tutor, who is particularly enthusiastic about sharing the joy of learning languages with others.
Having graduated high school with Distinguished Achievement in French Continuers, as well as having undertaken French Extension, I'm well-versed in the demands of highschool French, and the needs of learners from levels beginner to advanced.
At Sydney University, I'm currently studying a double major in Advanced French and Introductory Korean as part of my Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Languages Stream) which is preparing me to specialise in multilingual translation.

Bonjour! I'm Jay, a fluent French speaker and current Sydney University student majoring in Advanced French and Francophone Studies.
I offer tuition and homework help for all levels of highschool French and HSC preparation, beginner lessons for adults, as well as a French travel survival kit!
My approach focuses on contextual language acquisition - the process of learning through immersion! This means that I teach in French as much as possible at a level suited to you, while providing constructive feedback to get you speaking in French from lesson 1!
A typical lesson with me is 30 minutes, (60 minutes also offered), whether you're looking to brush up on your accent and speaking skills, get feedback on your own work, or tackle a new topic.
I offer zoom lessons, and am also able to come to you if you live in the North Sydney area.
