About Shree

I am currently at Imperial College London-one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Prior to this, I achieved 3 A* grades at A-level in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. I have also, however, struggled my whole life with traditional methods of teaching used in schools. I attribute most of my academic success to my own initiative to learn, often coming up with creative and rigorous approaches that focus more on understanding rather than just rote learning. As a result, I was able to perform consistently well across modern examinations where there is more emphasis on having a detailed understanding of core principles rather than just recalling facts. I believe it is this unique combination that makes me a good choice for anyone who wants to improve. I have been tutoring for over a year now and I find it very rewarding to not only watch my students develop their understanding and confidence but also on a personal level to know I am helping someone else achieve their academic potential!

About the lesson

A very relatable and approachable tutor, who can cater to a variety of students. I am aware of the challenges of modern education- the compounding effect of prior gaps in knowledge and how it leads to issues in understanding and inevitable underperformance in exams. I believe in teaching students in terms of first principles so they have an intuitive approach to solve problems in both physics and mathematics where this is particularly relevant to achieve the top grades. Having found school lessons ineffective, I have vastly taught myself most of physics and maths since year 7 following online and textbook tutorials so in a sense I have experience in teaching! Above all I am a committed and resilient person, and can personally guarantee satisfaction with any student where I am open to any feedback and will adjust lessons accordingly. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, I will send you the money back for your lesson and will offer the first lesson free of charge. I hope you can see I am a passionate tutor and want only the best for my students. Prices are negotiable once committed but 15 pounds per hour and available to tutor any time, but typical lesson lengths will be an hour. First lesson FREE of charge.
