My precalculus and Algebra lessons are designed to be both informative and engaging, with a focus on real-world applications and practical examples. Before each session, I thoroughly prepare notes on the topics to be covered and begin by providing a clear and concise overview of the subject matter, including its real-world significance and applications.

To ensure that my students have a deep understanding of the material, I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques, including multimedia resources and technology. I leverage supportive software such as MATLAB to provide graphical representations and help students visualize complex concepts. I also share videos related to practical applications of mathematics, which help students to better understand the relevance of the subject matter and its connection to the real world.

As a patient and experienced tutor, I understand that each student has unique needs and learning styles. That's why I take the time to tailor my lessons to the individual needs of each student, whether they are struggling with a specific concept or simply looking to strengthen their overall skills. By providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment, I help my students build the confidence and knowledge they need to excel in their precalculus studies.

Find out more about Saadeddin

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I developed an interest in the field of Mathematics at a young age, and as I pursued higher education in Mechanical Engineering, I further developed my passion for the subject. As for private tutoring, I began teaching as a way to help others understand the subject and achieve their academic goals.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach Precalculus and I particularly enjoy discussing topics such as trigonometry, functions, and limits. I find that students sometimes struggle with complex equations, but I enjoy breaking them down to make them more accessible. Additionally, I make sure to address any specific questions or concerns that my students have.
  • Did you have any role models; a teachers that inspired you?

I had a teacher during my high school years who was extremely passionate about Mathematics and had a unique way of making the subject come alive. This teacher inspired me to pursue higher education in the field and eventually led me to a career in tutoring.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

In my opinion, the qualities required to be a good tutor include patience, strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to adapt to each student's unique learning style.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I recall a time in high school when I was struggling with a complex equation. My teacher took the time to break down the problem and show me how to approach it step by step. This experience not only helped me solve the equation but also inspired me to pursue a career in Mathematics.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

One of the biggest challenges in Precalculus is helping students understand the various functions and equations. It can be difficult to explain complex concepts in an accessible way, but I enjoy the challenge and always strive to find new ways to help my students understand the material.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

My passion is teaching, both in general and specifically with regards to Mathematics. I find great joy in helping my students achieve their goals and improve their understanding of the subject.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions:-P)?

What makes me a Superprof is my ability to adapt to each student's unique learning style and provide personalized instruction to help them achieve their academic goals. I believe in making learning accessible and enjoyable, and I take pride in helping my students achieve success.
