About Aarnie

I am an incoming Investment Banking Analyst who has consistently ranked among the top of my program, earning multiple scholarships and Dean’s List recognitions. As one of the few undergraduate Teaching Assistants at the University of Toronto, I bring both academic excellence and proven teaching experience to my tutoring. My students can expect a highly professional, structured, and results-oriented approach. I take my role seriously and foster a supportive environment where students feel confident, challenged, and empowered to succeed.

About the lesson

As a university Teaching Assistant, I’ve taught students across different levels, from high school to advanced undergraduate finance and accounting, using a tailored, one-on-one pedagogical approach. My methodology focuses on breaking complex concepts into logical steps and using active questioning to ensure students fully internalize the material rather than memorizing it. In a typical lesson, we review key concepts, work through real examples, and finish with measurable checkpoints to assess understanding. What sets my tutoring apart is that I measure success by the student’s success—every session is personalized, paced to their needs, and built for results.
