About Michella
I am an incoming 1L at Northeastern Law. I graduated 3 years ago with a major in statistics and currently work as an analyst until I start law school. I have a very cute and chunky cat called simsim (great studying companion) and I love to read in my free time.

I started my LSAT journey back in 2021. I remember opening the huge PowerScore Logical Reasoning Bible, getting through a few pages, and immediately feeling overwhelmed. I would close it every time. Somehow, I never made it past chapter one. That cycle went on, on and off, until 2025. It wasn’t because I didn’t care about law school or wasn’t motivated enough. The LSAT just genuinely intimidated me, especially because I never saw myself as a “good” standardized test taker.
In 2025, I decided to approach things differently. I took the October LSAT and scored a 165 (around the 90th percentile).
I’m here to help other people do the same. Over time, I actually grew to enjoy the LSAT, and I know what it feels like to go from feeling completely stuck to finally understanding how the test works.
My approach is about making the LSAT feel automatic. Like brushing your teeth, you’re not actively thinking through every movement anymore. The goal is to build habits and patterns strong enough that, under pressure, you can still rely on them.
My teaching is very practice-focused. We can absolutely go over theory and question types in the beginning, but most of the learning happens in review. Usually, I’ll have you complete a practice section on your own time, and then we’ll go through every question together, even the easy ones. Sometimes we get questions right for the wrong reasons, and that usually catches up to people later. After each session, we’ll make a small strategy checklist of things to focus on the next time you practice, so you can actually see patterns in your thinking and improve from them.
