About Luisa
Hi there! I am Luisa and I recently graduated from Industrial Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. But before that I used to be a Visual art student in the IB program.
I've always loved drawing and painting, and I've been doing it since I was a kid. As a teen, it was the way I would express myself, and now it's what I do every single day.
I learned to draw and paint mostly on my own, but I had an amazing teacher that guided me a lot and taught me new things. I owe my love for design and art to her, and I wish to inspire that love and passion to others.

I like to adapt to what my student wants, so the first lesson would be understanding my student, their skill level and what they wish to learn. Each lesson would be planned and executed based on the previous information.
I want students to find their own style through a series of exercises and encourage their own practice. Art history would be taught, since it will enrich them with knowledge of the different art forms and movements. Also, each art/ drawing practice will be explained and demonstrated, while showing the techniques used.
I want my students to feel comfortable with what they do and themselves, since I believe that's the key for doing art. I believe anyone can do art, if they have the passion and dedication.
