About Ryan

Having graduated from Oxford and subsequently attained PGDL and BTC legal qualifications with distinction, and completed an LLM masters degree at UCL, I am a non-practicing barrister working as a full time tutor. I teach a range of subjects and particularly enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for mathematics and logic and equipping pupils with the confidence and skills to succeed in maths exams.

About the lesson

Having qualified in Economics at Oxford University, I am an enthusiastic 11+/13+, GCSE and AS level mathematics tutor. I have a meticulous and rigorous approach to my lessons and seek to ensure pupils obtain a deep and thorough knowledge of the subject matter, through carefully tailored explanations relevant to each student, together with the practical application of mathematical concepts and methods. Lesson length is typically 1 hour but shorter and longer sessions are available. I particularly enjoy working with pupils to achieve exam success but am equally motivated to assist younger pupils gain confidence in maths and to learn to love the subject.
