About Roberta

Interpreting and translation graduate I'm currently writing my thesis to get my Master's degree in Corporate Communication. Back in Italy, I gave Italian, Spanish and English private lessons mainly to high school students while studying for my Bachelor's degree.

About the lesson

Considering engagement is the key to learn a new language, I usually base my class on high interaction with the student. My first objective is giving a smattering of grammar rules and then focus on speaking, letting the student put into practice what he learnt and introducing new words in every lesson in order to build an extensible vocabulary. At the beggining of every lesson I briefly recap the previous class assessing what has been learnt and absorbed and what it is still not clear. What I value the most is checking the progress that has been made and upgrade the level only when the prefixed proficiency level has been achieved.
