About Jen

Hi there! I’m Jen and I'm offering tutoring for Junior Cycle Science and Leaving Cert Chemistry. I graduated from University College Cork in 2015 with a BScEd in Chemistry, and since then I’ve spent time teaching here in Ireland and abroad (in Italy and France, if you're nosy!). I’ve taught Chemistry, Biology, and Maths up to Leaving Cert level, and I know how tricky these subjects can seem — but they don’t have to be! I am passionate about turning even the most reluctant of students into the Scientists of the future! But if that seems like a stretch for you, I can at least promise to make it as fun as possible along the way with weird (but useful) analogies and lots of in-depth knowledge. P.S. Attached to this ad is a video linked to my YouTube account which I have a small number of video lessons I made for my students during Covid - this might give you a little insight as to what I am all about!

About the lesson

I'm offering grinds to Junior Cycle students in Science and Leaving Cert students in Chemistry.

Science and maths often get a bad reputation for being hard or boring, but I love changing that perception. My approach? Make things relatable, fun, and tailored to you. Whether you're into sport, gaming, music or baking, I’ll use examples and analogies that actually make sense to you.

I offer 1-hour grinds:
- In your home (within reasonable distance)
- Or online, if that suits better!
