About Lorenzo

I'm Lorenzo and I am 24. I've started teaching Italian in 2019 when Istarted working in a middle school in Bagheria (PA), teaching Italianto immigrants for almost the whole academic year. I kept teaching Italian privately to guys from high school. Now I am currently teaching Italian in Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) as assistant professor, not only teaching Italian language but also Italian cinema, creating interesting links with Italian culture.

About the lesson

My first goal is to eliminate the emotional gap between teacher and student to make the student feel free to express themselves. The most important thing in teaching is providing to the student a right amount of inputs that can image and process and then trying to make the student produce something with teacher's help.
I tend to use a lot of different resources that Ihave been using since 2019, like booksand ebooks, but also group projects that I have created during my studying years that guarantee a high quality lesson. My lessons are for whoever wants to learn Italian language and culture.

I’ve used Lorenzo’s services in the passed and I still can’t believe what we accomplished together. For years my Grandparents tried to teach me Italian and it just never worked. I had honestly given up until I found Lorenzo. With his help, I’ve been able to travel to Italy by myself and speak fluently without any issues. Lorenzo helped me find a piece of myself that I was never able to find myself. I feel more complete that I am able to go back to my ancestral home and feel like a native.
