About John
I was brought up in a musical household, both my parents were singers. I started learning ukulele at 11 years old, then piano at 13 and singing when I could first make words. I started guitar at age 20. I am now a cruise ship musician. I have written and produced 2 children's CDs. I am currently finishing my first indie rock album.

Music should be fun! We start with some scales, and some chords for a quick warm-up then we move towards songs the student knows so they can start singing and using percussion to get more familiar with the song. I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. Let's have some fun and learn to play music!
