The internet is a good tool for learning notes and how to play songs. After a bit of instruction a student can basically look up any song they want and teach themselves how to play it. There’s just a bit of guidance that’s required.

I taught myself how to play the guitar, and I’m pretty good at playing, so I guess I’m good at teaching how to play it as well. Once some basic notes are learnt a lot of songs can be played.
